Try scuba for groups

Are you visiting Slovenia with a group of children? We have the most fun activity for you. We will take the children diving!

We are the choosen diving center for many local schools, such as Gymnasium Piran. Gymnasium Sežana, Šolski center Slovenj Gradec and many more!

We have a program for the school groups that goes like this:

students and their parents need to fill up and sign basic health form at home
we start the program with a short theory lesson. We can do that after arriving at our diving center, or even better, a night before at the place where you are staying. We will explain basic things about diving, explain how the equipment works and how we use it, about underwater communication and about what we will do in the water
when diving, each child gets full SCUBA gear! There are usually 3 or 4 instructors in the water and each instructor takes 2 children at one time, so there are 6 or 8 children in the water at the same time. We have a beautiful sandy area right in front of the center, about 1,5 to 2m depth where we go down first and get used to breathing and equalizing pressure. We play around in the sand for a while, checking out local crabs and fish, before slowly going out in deeper water. We limit the depth to about 4 to 5m for children, to make it safer. But the diving experience is still 100% and emphasis is always on safety and HAVING FUN.
each child is equipped with full scuba equipment (short or long wetsuit, mask, fins, full scuba gear (tank, BCD, regulator)
the time under water is usually about 12 to 20 minutes per child (depending on agreed program)

The price for children diving in group is severely discounted from the usual Try Scuba price.
